Characteristics: Five shaft meshes are very dense and therefore stable products. The mesh widths are calculated to achieve a rectangular format, which in practice yields a trapezoid shape. All values given in the table below are average values. Five shaft meshes feature a smooth side with excellent properties for the removal of filter cakes. They are extremely robust and offer excellent flow rates in comparison with Dutch twill weaves.
